They seek their inspiration from the social climate, world conflicts, hot topics and the economy.
 
For example, in the year 2000, blue was the most popular colour. It represents hope (the sky is blue, everything is fine) and some people needed this for reassurance because they feared the end of the world was near. I predict that the same will happen in 2012. You must choose materials for your kitchen according to your taste, your lifestyle, the care you wish to provide, as well as the overall architecture of your house. You must also consider the investment against the value of your property.
 
Regarding the colours you should choose, it’s up to you. Since this represents quite an investment, you must decide on your colours as you would for your clothes. For example, a black dress and grey pants will always be part of your wardrobe because they go with everything. All you have to do is change your jewellery or your blouse to create a new look. The same goes for your kitchen cabinets. If two people buy a kitchen in natural birch, Shaker style, one might give it a very modern twist while the other one might prefer a country style look.
