Here are different steps to follow when considering the acquisition of new kitchen cabinets. It’s important to go through this process step by step, in order to make things easier for you and to ensure this experience is a pleasant one.

2. Choose the cabinet style you prefer (modern, classic, country, etc.).

3. Identify your needs. Make a list of what you dream of having in your kitchen and not only what you think can fit in. Make another list of things you don’t want, even if it would be possible for you to have them.

5. Choosing your electrical appliances: visit specialty shops, but don’t buy anything right away. Make a list of your preferences and another list of second choices.

6. The plan: choose a designer specialized in kitchen cabinets to design your plan. It’s important that you pay for this plan so you can study it and make sure it meets what you are looking for.

7. With your plan in hand, visit different showrooms to see the products that are offered according to the style you want. 10. It’s time to decide on the decoration, on your own or with the help of a decorator (cabinet and counter colour, paint, window coverings, etc.).

Please note that the manufacturing of your cabinets will require a few weeks (between four and eight weeks). So be prepared in advance!

Contractors must be hired early, because the good ones are always very busy. If all is well planed, the renovations will last approximately two or three weeks. You will then be happy with your experience and thrilled with the final results.
